This application is valid only for students who are applying for one of the Methodist University fully online degree programs; Health Care Administration Certificate, Master of Business Administration, Master of Criminal Justice, Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Master of Educational Leadership: Instructional Technology, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Nursing, or Nursing Education Certificate or Doctorate in Nursing: Executive Leadership.

Methodist University Online Graduate Program Admission Requirements for the Health Care Administration Certificate, Master of Business Administration, Master of Criminal Justice, or Master of Health Administration

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university before starting the first term of the program.
The Master’s in Business Administration program requires a statistics course as a prerequisite. Students lacking a statistics course can be accepted to the program provisionally; MU Online advisors will help students register for an eligible statistics course during their first semester.
Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Two letters of recommendation, and one letter must be from a professor or employer.
Provide a 1-2 page personal statement including your background, interest in attending Methodist University, interest in the program, and your career goals.

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university before starting the first term of the program.

Methodist University Online Graduate Program Admission Requirements for the Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university before starting the first term of the program.
Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Two letters of recommendation, and one letter must be from a professor or employer.

Methodist University Online Graduate Program Admission Requirements for the Doctorate in Nursing: Executive Leadership

Master’s degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a four-year accredited college or university and Master’s degree in business or health-related/educational field (MBA, MHA, MPH, M.Ed.) from a four-year accredited college or university before starting the first term of the program.
Current unencumbered RN License
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the awarded master’s degree.
Current resume, written description of personal goals and practice project interest, and cover letter.
Official transcripts.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a four-year accredited college or university before starting the first term of the program.

The Methodist University Honor Code

In pursuit of academic studies at Methodist University, every student has the responsibility for obeying the Honor Code, which prohibits cheating (including plagiarism), theft, and academic misrepresentation. All work submitted to instructors must be in compliance with the rules of the Honor Code.

Clery Act Information

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) is a consumer protection law that aims to provide transparency around campus crime policy and statistics. Title IX Non-Discrimination Policy

Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) prohibits sexual discrimination in educational programs receiving federal funds. At Methodist University, some of those programs and activities include admissions, recruitment, financial aid, academic programs, athletics, housing, and employment. Title IX also protects students, faculty, and staff from unlawful sexual harassment in school programs or activities. Title IX protects both male and female students, faculty, and staff from sexual harassment, regardless of who is the harasser.
