This application is intended for previously enrolled students seeking readmission to Methodist University as a student taking classes in the campus-based academic program. Readmit students seeking MU Online courses should complete the MU Online Application found at methodist.edu/apply. Please complete this application if you were previously enrolled at Methodist University and have not been enrolled at Methodist University for a period of one calendar year or more at the start of the semester for which you are applying. If you have been enrolled at MU within the last year, please complete the Step Out Reentry form. If you have never attended Methodist University, do not complete this application.

It is the policy of the University that, space permitting, all dependent students who are under 21 years of age prior to the start of the academic year and have earned 93 semester hours or less must live in University-operated residence halls unless they commute from the home of a parent or legal guardian residing within 60 miles of the University. All requests for waivers of the policy must be directed in writing to the Director of Housing and Residence Life.

Title IX Non-Discrimination Policy

Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) prohibits sexual discrimination in educational programs receiving federal funds. At Methodist University, some of those programs and activities include: admissions, recruitment, financial aid, academic programs, athletics, housing, and employment. Title IX protects both male and female students, faculty, and staff from sexual harassment, regardless of who is the harasser.
